Guided by the spirit of spontaneity and the quiet pull of desire, Salta creates clothing that captures the duality of modern femininity. Inspired by the afterglow of 1960s Barcelona and the energy of contemporary womanhood, Salta designs are made to be lived in. Seductive, effortless, and fluid, each piece is meant to move with you.

Collections are designed in Milan, bringing together Mediterranean sensuality and Northern precision, and crafted in Istanbul in small, intentional runs. Salta works closely with local ateliers, supporting traditional craftsmanship and ensuring every detail is shaped by skilled hands. Our commitment to sustainability is not a statement but a practice, from mindful sourcing to slow production, we prioritizes longevity, integrity, and care in everything we create.

Salta was founded by designer and creative director Selen Altaras, out of a simple desire to build the wardrobe she couldn’t find.

It began with a longing for pieces that felt instinctive and expressive, not quite basics, never overly done. Just the right balance of tension and ease, structured enough to command presence, fluid enough to never restrict it.
